Graeme started junior handling and excelled.
In 2004 when I started showing Chihuahuas, Graeme noticed the child and junior handling classes. He was in one child handling class, and then turned 13. He used our smooth coated Chihuahua CH Dieptrap Monica.
He soon noticed a Chihuahua is not the right choice for these classes. He took me to the hound ring and showed me a Basenji. We bought Akia and later we imported Nekieta. Graeme excelled and won one competition after the other. He won his first Nationals with Akia.
Last year he won the Nationals with a Dalmatian. He also practice his handling skills showing different breeds in other breed rings and also use different breeds for handling in open and Championship shows. This year 24 June 2011 is his last National competition before he turns 18. He is still deciding about the breed of dog he is going to take to the Nationals.
